Pay: $18/hour
Schedule: Part-time, 10–20 hours per week (days, evenings, and occasional weekends required)
Location: Remote, with regular travel throughout Douglas County
Northwest Wisconsin Community Services Agency is seeking a motivated and community-driven Community Engagement Specialist to support and help lead the efforts of the Douglas County Drug Prevention Coalition through the Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program.
The Douglas County Drug Prevention Coalition strives to create safe and healthy communities by preventing and reducing substance use across the lifespan, with a strong focus on youth and supporting families. Through collaboration and data-driven strategies, the coalition works to strengthen community well-being and promote healthy choices across the county. This work is fully funded through grants, including the federal Drug-Free Communities (DFC) Support Program, which supports this position.
This position will play a key leadership role in coalition activities, working closely with the Program Coordinator/Director to implement grant initiatives, strengthen partnerships, expand outreach, and elevate youth engagement. The Community Engagement Specialist will serve as a visible and active representative of the coalition throughout the county.
