Drug Prevention Coalition of Douglas County

We’re here to support every family, individual, and organization in Douglas County, working together to create a safe, healthy, and drug-free environment for future generations.

Coalition History

The Douglas County Drug Prevention Coalition is a community-based coalition addressing substance use in Douglas County. The coalition focuses on prevention of substance abuse as well as collaboration with community partners on efforts such as education and awareness and community and policy change to address substance use. All sectors of the community are welcome to participate in the coalition and its meetings. Members may represent their workplace or group or may be attending as individuals.

Vision: Creating safe and healthy communities.

Mission: To build community in ways that prevent and reduce substance use with a primary focus on youth, and contribute to long term culture change related to substance use and abuse within the county.
